PROGRAMS
Remember Us Urban Legends provides intentional programming that contributes to the development of personal and professional skills from a perspective of increasing social-emotional intelligence. All of our programs are culturally relevant with an emphasis of meetings our teens and families where they're at and walking with them to get where they are trying to go.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

RUULs on The R.I.S.E. initiative provides monthly events aimed to build community amongst parents, teens and providers. Each month we provide a teen night, parent night and community bike ride during the warmer months. CLICK HERE to see more and get involved.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

RUUL provides specialized training in leadership, landscaping and hair braiding after school, three days a weeks, during the school year. These are stipend-based programs that focus on improving school attendance, behavior and grades while increasing the financial stability of the household.
IN SCHOOL PROGRAMS
RUUL partners with Linden McKinley Stem Academy and Columbus Alternative High School to provide programming.
RUUL supports teachers and students on their journey to academic success. This is achieved by intentional programs that focus on building relationships, social emotional learning, completing graduation or promotion requirements and building life skills.

HUSTLE & GROW

RUUL provides a nine-week skilled-trade program in the landscaping and braiding industries.
In addition to skilled trades, teens develop financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and social-emotional skills. Emphasizing the importance of community pride, teens also complete community service and receive hours towards graduation.
RUUL Ambassadors
The RUUL Ambassador Program is a peer mentoring and servant leadership initiative where youth play meaningful roles while shaping their communities. Ambassadors serve as role models, lead events, lead or participate in civic engagement and community service activities, and mentor younger peers. Youth develop 21st-century workforce skills that prepare them to be connected to and enter careers of their interest.
